Too cute!

This week was just another week, full of fun and work! 

We played with babies.....

 We took walks...

We played with the truck....

 Someone kept ripping his glasses off his face, pulling the strap off and then trying to hide them behind himself..... Or just throw them is separate directions. 

We had some trouble makers...

We had a little boy amaze me.... (he found one of his eye patches on the floor and brought it to me and held it over his eye!) 

We had a little girl pretend to use the potty with her doll....

Rich has a mid-term due monday! Wish him luck! 

"I love you cake man"

So this last week has been CRAZY to say the least. Lots has been going on. To start off I made a birthday cake for one of the other law students. It was a batman funfetti cake. I made it after claire went to bed tuesday night and when she woke up in the morning and saw it, First thing she said was "I love you cake man!" So cute. I love this little girl. I don't know how she knew it was a cake right off! She talked to batman all day until we delivered him later in the afternoon. 

I finished a work project tuesday and another one thursday and have had lots of late nights. To keep claire busy rich has been coming home from school and taking claire out to play and drive his truck! Claire has loved the rain and puddles!

Claire has been a really picky eater lately but one thing she LOVES is green beans. Some days thats all she wants. She ate this whole plate full!

We have been trying to make FHE more fun for claire lately since she is starting to understand so much more. One week we read the story of Daniel and the lions den and then claire was the lion. She LOVED it!

Another week we read the story of David and Goliath and then threw "rocks" (paper balls) at Goliath (daddy) As you can see we won!

Claire has learned she can pick up scott and take him where she wants him. Oh boy!

Scott has been teething this week! Poor boy. 2 teeth have broke through his gums and 2 are still working there way out. He is sleeping much better tonight! YAY!

Claire had fun helping me make frosting.

This week while watching Johnny we colored on tortillas with my food color markers. It was a Huge hit and we have been doing it a lot lately. Fun snack time and it entertained the 2 monsters for almost an hour! AMAZING! 

In other news scott has been very active and getting into everything. He can now take 2 steps without falling! Ahhh, I don't know if im ready to have him running wild. He also learned to wave this week!

Rich had a lot of fun in DC....

Now We are all excited for the weekend! 

Happy Valentines day!

Oh boy do I love these kids so much! I think I have way too much fun taking pictures of these cutie pies. I can't stop, I think Im addicted to photos of them! 

For valentines day this year Rich was in Washington DC! He flew out wednesday with a bunch of the other LDS law students for a conference. Im sure we will post pictures from his trip soon. He is having a lot of fun and today even got to shake Elder Holland's hand! 

We dropped rich off at the airport in portland and me and the kids are spending the weekend at my parents. :) We had a fun valentines photo shoot in the backyard of the neighbor girl, (it was her 3rd birthday) and we took a couple pictures also. :)

Scott is 10 months old now! WOW. This little man is growing up.  

It was a pretty good valentines day! I love these cute kids.

Another activity this week was a cake I made for an auction the law school put on. It was a chocolate cake with blackberry preserves, blackberry buttercream and chocolate frosting with chocolate ganache. And TONS of fresh berries of course! Yum. I really wish i could have eaten this! 

Rich has been driving his remote control truck and claire LOVES it. She has so much fun chasing it and giggling. ;)

I hope everyone had a happy Valentines day! I had a great one with my 2 wonderful little valentines! We missed you daddy!

The joy of being a parent....

Being a parent is hard. Really hard sometimes! But there are so many things that make all the hard work worth it! 

Just look at these kiddos... They are so cute and happy! The really do LOVE each other so much. I love watching them together. 

Claire is growing up so fast! She is talking more every day. Her new thing is saying "where are you?"

We love going to gymnastics and playing. Its so fun to see her try new things and run wild. Last week she actually swung on the rings into the foam pit!

Look at these two. I love them so much! It is so much fun being claire's mommy, and daddy. She loves hugs and cuddles lately. (especially from daddy)

Smiles and giggles make the days so much fun!

Claire has been all about dressing up lately. She always wants to be wearing a dress. Some days I let her pick her PJ's and she says no to everything I hold up and she runs to the closet and pulls out a dress!
She has slept in dresses a lot lately. :)

One of the joys of being a parent is all the unexpected, funny things your kids do. The other night claire stashed a whole box of spongebob dominos inside Rich's pant leg!

Claire LOVES baby food lately! She asks to feed scott and then runs away with it and eats it all by herself.

Scotts been getting some more teeth. So far they have not come through his gums but he has sure let us know. This is scott at 1am the other day after eating a popsicle. He was one happy camper!

Scott's new favorite thing is to crawl into any room and shut the door, he then cries till you open it back up and then he shuts it again! over and over and over....

Scott will be 10 months old next week! WOW! 

Watch out. Claire is watching you....

And these two monsters are planning something. I am a little scared! 

Our little trouble maker found claire's hot wing the other day and he really enjoyed himself. He is so good at making a mess! Such a boy!

Scott learned how to point this week. He is pointing at everything! 

This is Johnny. We watch him once a week. Claire and Johnny have a lot of fun together! I wish  knew what these kids are thinking...

Rich has been working away at school like crazy and helping me a ton with the kids! I've started running a couple mornings a week and its been so amazing! I have felt so much better during the day!
